VicTsing: Wireless Gaming Mouse

This wireless mouse is ideal for portable gamers. It has buttons which are programmable with the include software and it has an ergonomic right handed design (ideal for long gaming sessions). I took this with me a long with my dell xps laptop to a gaming society local area network event. It found that the mouse was comfortable and provided excellent varying amounts of precision.

The mouse comes in black and has a single led on the top which illustrate which sensitivity the sensor is set to (more flashes means more precision). It connects via a low profile wireless 2.4Ghz usb adapter and requires a single AA to power on. The adapter can be stored in a recess on the underside of the mouse, but it does stick out so the mouse does not lay flat when it is stored.

The mouse offers 6 levels of dpi adjustment from 800 to 4800 dpi and these can be adjusted on the fly with the button below the scroll wheel. The mouse includes a power saving mode whereby it will go to sleep after 8 minutes of non use. This feature is a little annoying as it means that an additional click is required to wake the mouse from sleep. However this is better than having to constantly replace a flat a battery or remembering to switch it off.

In all this is a good mouse. I have no issues installing the software on Windows 10. This product would be ideal for gamers, but would also suit general use as well.

This wireless Qi charger is perfect for any Smartphone that supports wireless charging. It is solid with a decent weight and suitable grips to prevent it sliding on the surface. It is a silver painted ring surrounding the rectangular charge base.

The front of the base has an indicator light and the rear provides the port for the usb lead. This charger supports fast charge which allows you to charge up your phone nearly twice as fast compared to standard chargers.

VicTsing Mechanical Feel Keyboard

This gaming keyboard is back lit with 7 changeable colours which can be adjusted between: stable, breathing and off. The keys are back lit, so is the white plastic surround and the brightness is adjustable.

This keyboard has 5 programmable keys which you can use to record key strokes for short-cuts or to type short phrases.

It comes with a detachable palm rest, which makes for a very comfortable typing experience. I did not feel the need to work out how it detaches, but it is stated that this is removable. I found it tends to swing under the keyboard if it is picked up.

The build quality is very good, the design and feel gives the impression of a mechanical keyboard (which is probably why this is stated in the product name). However doesn’t be fooled into thinking this is a mechanical keyboard. It has rubber domed keys (which I actually prefer), not the clicky keys that are associated with mechanical keyboards.

The keyboard includes many shortcut keys via the function (Fn) key combined with the F keys. These included media play/pause, next/previous track, launch calculator, launch browser etc.

The layout is QWERTY English UK, so the @ sign and “ are in the correct places. Unfortunately keyboard does not have a full sized return key, which is something I cannot do without as I always hit the top of this when typing (which on this keyboard is replaced with #). Also a slight annoyance is that the Fn key replaces the left Windows key (which is my go to key for showing the desktop and opening the start menu).

In conclusion this keyboard would suit PC gamers and typists alike. Typing feels comfortable and natural, but some learning is required for the reduced return key and the lack of a left Windows key. The programmable keys are very practical and do not take long to record to. The colour lighting is a great extra and the mechanical keyboard feel gives it a high quality finish.

VicTsing Cardboard Virtual Reality Glasses

Neatly packed in a cardboard sleeve are the Virtual Reality glasses from VicTsing. The products slides out and with a bit of assembly you are ready to experience VR from your mobile phone.

These glasses are made from cardboard, but are very sturdy and have no peculiar scent. Obviously you would not want to get them wet, but Virtual Reality is not typically experienced in the rain.

The design is relatively simple, the flaps and elastic strap attach with Velcro and the phone is supported by rubberised suckers (similar to those used to hold a bar of soap). They hold phones with 4-5.5 inch screens, which is perfect for my Nexus 5.

Virtual Reality content can be found all over YouTube and on the Google cardboard app available on the play/app store. These videos are display splitscreen content on your mobile and with these glasses each image is sent to a different eye creating the 3D illusion.

These glasses are very comfortable and I do not look as big and idiot compared to other Virtual Reality products. (Aside from the fact I have cardboard strapped to my face).

In conclusion, yes you are buying a product made from cardboard, but they are light weight and offer an experience as good as any other Virtual Reality product. Also I found these to be a lot more comfortable than other Virtual Reality products allowing me to enjoy the mobile phone content for longer. These would make for a perfect gift for children or as an introduction product to the world of Virtual Reality.

VicTsing Virtual Reality Goggles

Delve into the world of Virtual Reality while also looking ridiculous. These VR goggles allow you to strap your smartphone to your face in order to fully experience 3D and 360 videos.

The 3D videos work by splitting the image into two pictures (one aimed at each lens) and they are slightly offset to give the impression of a 3rd dimension. Whereas 360 videos use the accelerometer (such as the one in your smartphone) to allow you to entirely explore each viewing direction of a video.

If you are wondering where to find videos to watch with these goggles you can find many 3D and 360 videos all over YouTube. Also you can download the Google Cardboard app (available on the Play store for Android users or App store for Apple users) which provides an entertaining selection of 360 videos.

These goggles accommodate smartphone sizes from 4 inch to 6 inch and a specially designed EVA mat is included for use with 4-5 inch models to keep them sturdy.

The top of the goggles have a single control for adjusting the pupil and focal distance. Sliding the control towards/away from you increases/decreases the focal distance and rotating the wheel adjusts the pupil distance.

I would have liked to have seen some sort of external button for simple phone interaction such as media keys. You can get around this by connecting a Bluetooth speaker which will also produce better sound quality than your encased phone.

The padding on these goggles makes for a comfortable fit against your face. However, the cut-out for the nose is not padded which is not so comfortable for big noses.

To conclude, these are some very well made VR goggles and would suit anyone interested in Virtual Reality video watching. They are provide an experience akin to the HTC Vive and the Oculus Rift at a significantly cheaper price.

VicTsing 4K Sports Action Camera

This little Go Pro clone is perfect for capturing action based footage. With an ultra HD Sony sensor it can capture outstanding 4K videos and 20 megapixel photos. Its rugged housing and abundant attachments mean you can shoot from practically anywhere even underwater!

For the price this sports camera is certainly great value for money and it comes with everything you could possibly need. It is also beautifully small, perfect for popping into your pocket. Its minimalistic design has 4 easy accessible buttons, which makes it very easy to operate.

A warm voice prompt is played to confirm actions such as start/stop recording and also to inform the user if there is allow power or lack of storage. This is very useful when the camera is mounted in a hard to check locations e.g. strapped to your head.

With the waterproof enclosure there is no way the sports camera will get wet. I tested this by filming an “accidental” drop of the camera into a hot tub; which made for very interesting footage with the camera sinking slowly to the bottom and the bubbles coming out of the jets.

An anti-shake function is built into the camera which helps to reduce the vibration caused by hand movement in order to take outstanding photos. The camera requires a micro SD card for storage which must be class 10 or above (often written on the card) and should be at least 8GB in capacity and at most 64GB.

If this is not enough to impress you, it supports complete wireless control with your smart-phone via the free to download app Final Cam. Now you can position the sports camera in the ideal location while using your phone as the viewfinder and to start/ stop recording (great for locating your dog when he decides to run off with the camera strapped to him).

The two downsides I found were that audio playback is very tinny, even when the camera is not in its enclosure. Also with a full charge (around 1hour 45min from flat) the battery life is less than the stated 90 minutes, averaging a little over an hour per battery.

VicTsing LED Desk Lamp

The led desk lamp is black with a glossy hard plastic base and head which are connected by a flexible neck with a soft silicon exterior. The lamp is mains powered by an ac adapter with a lead measuring 1.5 metres. The lamps overall weight is significantly lighter than non led desk lamps and it supports 3 brightness settings.

I have this lamp on my desk to provide suitable lighting when I am working on my laptop in the evenings. The light is sufficiently bright and the touch sensor button is very cool. When moving the lamp it rubs on the desk as the padding is only thick enough for a stationary position.

What is in the box:

In the box is the desk lamp, ac adapter, user manual and a light blue cleaning cloth.

Build quality:

The build quality of the desk lamp is very good, however due to the weight of the head it is not a very stable structure in long reaching positions. The quality of the ac adapter is also very good; however I’d have liked to see some sort of brand etched on the blank panel.

Pros:

Cons:

- Base padding could be thicker

- Likely to topple when altered

Conclusion:

Overall I am very pleased with this desk lamp. It is sufficiently bright and energy efficient too. I like that it has adjustable brightness modes and that you can flex the light to any position. Also I find the touch sensor light to be very cool and futuristic. The main downside is only apparently when shifting the light around your desk and just teaches me to pick the unit up first. I highly recommend this product; it is a great addition for any office desk.

VicTsing Mechanical Gaming Keyboard

The gaming keyboard has blue key switches and each key is individually lit with one of six colours. The layout is standard QWERTY but it is the US style which switches the quotation and at symbols. The keys can be configured to light up to your own taste, following one of the 9 possible lighting sequences with adjustable brightness and speed.

I have used this keyboard for a while and I am actually using it to type up this review. Each key has an audible click with a satisfying tactile feel, if you are a heavy typist the “click” becomes more of a “clack”. The keyboard connects via a USB 2.0 cable measuring 2 metres in length. For a gaming keyboard it is very enjoyable to type with, however I wish the “return” key was larger as I occasionally press the key located above it.

What is in the box:

The keyboard comes with user manual and a key removal tool.

Build quality:

The build quality of the device itself is very good. The keys are plastic but the base is solid metal which gives it a lot of weight and strength.

Pros:

+ Solid metal design

+ Satisfying to type on

Cons:

- Follows the US key layout

-The return key is not big enough

- No configurable macro keys

Conclusion:

This keyboard is very nice to type, but due to its US layout and the size of the enter key I feel it would be better suited for gaming. Some of the light up modes supports this, as you can set it to light up just the WASD keys etc. I like the solid weighty metal base, gaming peripherals take a lot of abuse and this needs to be durable for years of gaming. I recommend this keyboard if you need a gaming keyboard which is solid with mechanical keys and has the added bonus of lighting up.

VicTsing Wireless HDMI Dongle

This adapter connects to your HDMI port on your television, monitor or projector and enables you to cast the display and audio from your smartphone to the display. It is externally powered via USB with the included micro USB to USB cable, which could be difficult to power for a monitor, but most TVs and projectors will have a USB available.

I connected this adaptor to my monitor and had to run a USB extension cable to power the device. The screen displayed instructions for connecting your casting device, be it iPhone, Mac, Samsung or other android variation. I used my Nexus 5 and before reading the instructions I had connect my phone wifi to the adaptor. Thinking this product is useless for broadcasting YouTube videos, I followed the on screen instructions and actually found I can cast to the device while staying connected to my network. My smartphone was being displayed on my monitor and I opened up YouTube to test out some videos. My monitor has built in speakers and I can confirm that the audio is also cast through this device. The picture quality was very good and I experience no issues with regard to lag, glitching, etc.

What is in the box:

Included in the box is the wireless to HDMI display adapter, an HDMI extension lead (15cm), micro USB to USB power cable (80cm) and user guide.

Build quality:

The build quality is okay, it feels a little cheap as it is made of plastic which flexes under pressure.

Conclusion:

This product is okay for its intended use, it works very well and casting to the screen is very simple. This product would be useful to enable casting on a TV which does not support it natively, but ensure you have a USB port located nearby.

VicTsing Humidifier 800ml

This cooling mist humidifier separates into two sections; the upper part is blue and contains the tank for the water. The lower part contains the night light and workings for producing the mist. The unit is powered by the included ac mains adaptor and it requires cold water to operate.

I have used this humidifier to keep the air cool and fresh in my room, especially during the night in order to combat sore throats resulting from dry air. I filled the tank with from the bold bathroom tap and placed it onto its lower section. Immediately the water pours out into the lower basin and I plugged it in and switched it on. I was amazed at what happened next, smoke-like mist constantly poured out of the top of the unit, it is quite an impressive sight. The humidifier has three modes to choose from, which are combinations of having the night light on and humidifier on. The button is a motion sensor which reacts when your finger gets within 5mm from it, which is nearly as cool as the mist. This product is very quiet, there is a slight hum from the internal fan and the occasionally drip of water.

What is in the box:

The box contains the cooling mist humidifier, ac mains adaptor, weekly maintenance brush and user manual.

Build quality:

This product is reasonably well built, it is mostly made from plastic, but this is a suitable material for a product involving water. Assuming it is kept in a suitable location and the weekly maintenance is followed, then I see the product lasting several years.

Pros:

+ The amazing mist it produces

Cons:

I have no cons for this product

Conclusion:

Overall I am very impressed with this product; it has quite a futuristic vibe to it with the mist and the motion sensor button. It does a very good job of humidifying the room and would be great way to keep cool in the hotter months. I highly recommend this humidifier.

The selfie camera is about the size of a small webcam, it has a magnetic backing which is reversible to a reusable adhesive backing allowing it to be mounted in numerous locations. It can be connected to your smartphone via wifi to use as a viewfinder and to control the camera. It also comes with a selfie remote for taking photos while posing for a shot.

The camera comes in black with a white ring surrounding the lens on the front of the device.  The top of the camera has a button for taking photos which can be held for 2 seconds to take videos. The left button is for initializing a wifi connection and the right button is for turning the device on and off. A status led is on the front of the camera, which shows red during charging, white when the camera is ready and blue for wifi connection. The underside of the camera has a removable threaded disc which is opened with a coin. This reveals a slot for the micro sd card (not included) and a charging/ data port for the included micro usb to usb cable.

The selfie remote comes in white, with two large light blue buttons. It is powered by a single CR2032 battery (not included). The first button behaves the same as the capture button on the device, pressing once for taking a photo and holding to take a video. The other button is a lock for protecting media from being deleted.

What is in the box:

Included in the box is the selfie camera, a selfie remote, spare attachment panel, micro usb to usb cable, cleaning cloth, storage pouch and a user manual.

Build quality:

The build quality of the device itself is very good, however it did get hot when charging. Time will tell on how long the rechargeable battery will last for. The quality of the selfie remote is acceptable, the plastic material feels a little cheap and I was shocked that a battery was not included.

Conclusion:
I think is a very good product, I can see it being useful not just as a selfie camera, but also an upgrade for your smartphone camera. The camera takes outstanding quality HD photos/ videos and can be positioned practically anywhere. I don’t understand why a battery for the selfie remote is not included, for mostly this reason alone I have dropped a star. Otherwise in all this is a top notch product and I highly recommend it.
